Seongnam Mayor Eun Soo-mi of Gyeonggi Province, who was sentenced to ineffectiveness in the second trial and retained his position as Mayor of the Supreme Court by centrifugal destruction, said, "I will concentrate on correcting the situation without having to sit down."

Immediately after the Supreme Court ruling, Mayor Eun said, "I am grateful to the court. I am sorry once again that I was worried about personal problems when I had to comfort and cheer the difficult citizens with Corona 19."

The second part of the Supreme Court destroyed the centrifugal sentence of a fine of 3 million won to the mayor, who was handed over to the court on charges of violating the Political Fund Act on the morning, and sent the case back to Suwon High Court.

The court ruled that "the prosecution sentenced the sentence to a sentence heavier than the first trial was unlawful, even though the prosecutors had no claim of legal grounds for appeal."

Earlier, Mayor Eun-ju was retrieved for accused of receiving more than 90 vehicle conveniences from Co-Mart Reid, headed by Lee Mo, who is from a group of organized gangsters in Seongnam, for political activities from June 2016 to May 2017. It was handed over to a fine of 1.5 million won.

In response to this, the first court, the Suwon District Court, Seongnam Jiwon, sentenced a fine of 900,000 won, and the Suwon High Court sentenced a fine of 3 million won, twice the prosecution's sentence at the appeals court.

Under the current law, if an elected official is convicted of a fine of more than 1 million won for violating the Political Fund Act, he will lose his job.

In the appeals court, he was sentenced to invalidate the election, and was in danger of losing his mayoral position, but the Supreme Court decided to repeat the second trial on that day, allowing him to remain in the market for the time being.
