Sixteen was cheated on SEK 250,000 on his 82nd birthday

It was in October 2018 that Sixten was called by an unknown man, when he was sitting alone at home on his birthday.

The man said he called from the older man's bank and that someone was trying to withdraw from his account. To stop this, Sixten needed to log in with his bank box.

- I did not know then, but now I know that the banks never call, he says.

After the call, Sixten called the bank's customer service and learned that SEK 250,000 had disappeared from his account. He got the council to make a police report, which he did the same day.

- I blame myself for being so stupid. I thought the man who called sounded very trusting, but then I went for a rivet, he says.

Today he has recovered his money, but the event has left his mark.

- I have become unnecessary. It is no idea to call me if you are not allowed.
