  It is also reported that the governor of Peru, Móngua, Zenón Cuevas Pare, received a new coronavirus test in the city of Tacna on the 6th and the test result was positive. He is currently in isolation at home and his condition is stable.

  At the same time, Luis Hidalgo Okimura, the governor of Madre de Dios Region, also said on social media that his new coronavirus test was positive and did not show related symptoms, and has now begun home isolation. He is said to be the third governor-level official infected since the outbreak in Peru.

  The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, Edgar Vazquez, said in an interview recently that the new crown epidemic has plunged the Peruvian tourism industry, of which inbound tourism is the hardest hit. It is expected that by the end of 2020, the number of international tourists received by Peru will fall back to the level of 2004.
