At the same time, Kravtsov did not specify in what format it is planned to hold school holidays on Knowledge Day.

The Minister emphasized that the agency does not intend to abandon the full-time training format.

Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin expressed the hope that by September 1, metropolitan schoolchildren will be able to return to class.

“I hope that from September 1, Moscow schoolchildren will go to school, as, in fact, this is indicated by the Ministry of Education. And today, according to the epidemiological situation that exists in Moscow, we see, we hope that it will allow the educational process to begin, as usual, according to tradition - September 1, ”Sobyanin quoted Interfax as saying.

As Sergey Kravtsov added, on September 1, Russian students are scheduled to conduct a diagnosis of knowledge based on the results of distance education.

“We made the decision that on September 1, schools of the Russian Federation will be diagnosed with the knowledge of schoolchildren,” RIA Novosti quotes the minister.

At the same time, assessments based on the results of diagnostics will not be made, Kravtsov added. Instead, the level of knowledge will simply be checked, and if gaps are identified after a period of distance learning, specialists will prepare programs to eliminate them and "align educational results to the required level."
