Xu Zhengmin, director of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Pediatric Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, emphasized at the meeting .

  Ma Lin, director of the Department of Dermatology at Beijing Children’s Hospital, Capital Medical University, also analyzed at the seminar that many parents currently have cognitive misunderstandings and feel that it is okay for their children to be allergic. When they grow up, they will not have allergic symptoms such as eczema. This The idea is wrong.

  Ma Lin emphasized that allergies have a far-reaching impact on children. We must pay attention to the education of children with allergies to improve disease awareness and treatment compliance. Parents, schools, kindergartens, and society should all pay attention, especially the awareness of allergies is still a place that parents need to strengthen.

  At the live event, Xu Zhengmin also introduced the country's first "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis in Children-Clinical Practice", which was compiled by the Children's Otolaryngology Professional Committee of the Pediatricians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. Experts particularly remind parents to follow the doctor's instructions to give their children medication, and should use anti-allergic drugs for children with higher compliance and safety.

  On the same day, the school charity activity for allergic rhinitis screened by the China Children’s Newspaper and Periodical Workers Association, sponsored by Shanghai Education Newspapers and Periodicals, and supported by Bayer Health Consumer Goods was announced.

  According to reports, the event will be held in seven key cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Nanjing and Jinan from September to December 2020. Taking "Children's Allergic Rhinitis Screening" as the core, relevant experts from the top three hospitals are invited to enter the local kindergarten to conduct simple consultation and screening for children with allergic rhinitis.
