Recently, an artillery unit of a brigade of the 75th Army of the Army, for the purpose of testing the fire strike capability in the plateau environment, pulled a new type of wheeled artillery to the western Yunnan Plateau for the first time to conduct a multi-shot, cross-day and night live-fire shooting exercise.

At the artillery shooting range, live-fire shooting exercises are being carried out intensively. After receiving the fire strike command, the artillery detachment quickly moved to the basic position. The scouts launched the reconnaissance of the target as soon as possible, and the officers and soldiers carried out the preparation work before the live ammunition was ordered.

The exercise used mixed command from a traditional observatory and aerial drones, and fired multiple bombs such as long-range detonation grenades, extended range bombs, and smoke bombs.

The drill continued until night, and the shooting difficulty was greatly increased. In the case of a significant decrease in visibility, officers and men fired flares to illuminate the target area. The live-fire shooting exercise was ultimately a complete success.
