Empty stands mean empty cash registers for an elite club. It also became noticeable when the most revenue-generating part of the season - the playoffs - was canceled and the clubs lost big money.

Now comes the state aid that will cover at least part of the losses. Ten of Hockeyallsvenskan's teams are allowed to share 17.3 million. Both Modo hockey and Timrå IK are among the clubs that receive the largest amount. Modo hockey gets just over five million and Timrå 1.7 million.

Set final

Modo and Björklöven were the two teams that would make up for the victory in the Hockey Allsvenskan, matches that were expected to be played before crowded arenas and it is also the two teams that receive the most support.

The support is distributed taking into account how many home games that remained when the series was canceled and how much loss the clubs made on the matches that could not be completed.
