- The United States leaves WHO -

The United States has confirmed that it officially notified the United Nations of the American withdrawal from the World Health Organization (WHO), accused by Washington of having delayed reacting to the coronavirus pandemic to spare Beijing.

The notification will be effective after a period of one year, July 6, 2021, said several officials of the United States government.

- Golf: Ryder Cup postponed? -

The 2020 edition of the Ryder Cup, which pits the United States every two years against Europe, will be postponed by a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, announced the American chain ESPN, affirming that an official announcement would take place on Wednesday.

The 43rd Ryder Cup, scheduled for September 25-27 at Whistling Straits, Wisconsin, will be postponed for one year to 2021, ESPN said, citing a source not authorized to speak publicly.
