“By decision of the head of state, Belarus will provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. The cargo in order to eliminate the consequences of the flood was formed as soon as possible and left the territory of the Republican Special Forces Unit of the Ministry of Emergencies this morning, ”the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports to Interfax.

The total mass of humanitarian aid is 30 tons. It is planned that Belarusian aid will arrive in Lviv on July 8.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov warned of a possible outbreak of COVID-19 in the west of the country due to flooding.
