The firefighters could not save him from the flames. Tuesday evening, a 22-year-old motorist died, trapped in his burning vehicle after an accident on a department of Ain.
At around 10 p.m., the man reportedly lost control of his car at Sainte-Euphémie. Two other occupants of the vehicle, aged about twenty, were slightly injured according to Le Progrès which reports this case.
An investigation was opened to establish the exact circumstances of this exit from the road which also caused a fire in a field, quickly brought under control by the firefighters.
