A dramatic industrial accident occurred Tuesday on a site in Vern-d'Anjou, an associated municipality of Erdre-en-Anjou in Maine-et-Loire, reports Ouest-France . At around 5 p.m., a worker was fatally struck by a mini-excavator, who was working on the site, located in the Victoires industrial zone.
The 47-year-old Argentinian-born man stopped breathing. Despite the intervention of the emergency services, he died shortly after 6 p.m. The judicial investigation was entrusted to the gendarmerie brigade of Lion-d'Angers.
