- We welcome this oversight, for us it is positive that IVO acts quickly. It is about how we will work forward, says Alexander Louhichi, Head of Development at the Social Administration in Torsås Municipality.

The first confirmed death due to covid-19 in Kalmar County occurred in Torsås municipality at the end of March this year. IVO did an early inspection last spring.

- Then it was mostly about listening in and sharing knowledge with the housing here in the municipality and knowing how other municipalities are doing.

Have you changed your routines this spring?

- We follow the recommendations that come from the Public Health Authority and from the County Administrative Board. Above all, it is about being out early with the information about hygiene routines and reminding them.

Several employees have also attended the web training from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

Could you have done something different?

- Absolutely, once we evaluate covid-19 and the outbreak this spring, I think we will learn a lot about how we could secure our routines.
