The Prisoners of Conscience account confirmed that the news of the Sheikh, who has been detained in Saudi prisons, has been traveled by Safar Al-Hawali about his family since the start of the quarantine in the Kingdom due to the Corona virus.

Al-Hawali is one of the most prominent preachers detained in the kingdom's prisons since 2018, against the backdrop of his critical views on the policies of the ruling family.
