It is at two accommodations in Västerås, one in Sala and one in Köping, that IVO believes that the deficiencies have been so serious that the operations must continue to be examined to see what went wrong. In total, 91 accommodations in Sweden need to be examined further.

- There are examples of people who have not received an individual assessment by a doctor but where they have made a general assessment that was not what the person needed. People have been badly affected, says Sofia Wallström, Director General of IVO, at a press conference on Tuesday.

The accommodations in Västmanland that apply are:

  • Nordlund in Köping
  • Jakobsbergsgården in Sala
  • Rösegården in Västerås
  • Attendo Tujagården in Västerås
