A fire broke out around 3 a.m. on the night of Monday to Tuesday near the Rohrschollen incineration plant in Strasbourg. The firefighters were called for a waste fire that had started on a plot near the incinerator.
The flames touched 150 m² of waste, 8 meters high, said the fire soldiers, who deployed large means. They were and still are a hundred on site for this intervention which is not yet finished this morning.
