China News Service, July 6 (Xinhua), according to the United States, "World Daily" reported that Lena Hernandez, a 54-year-old woman who was suspected of discriminating against Asians in public on two occasions, was arrested by the police on the 3rd local time. However, the reason for her arrest was not discrimination, but was suspected of having sex with others in Torrance mall in 2019. As of the 4th, Hernandez had paid one yuan (US dollars) for release from prison, and because of insufficient evidence, he would not be accused of discrimination.

Lena Hernandez, a white resident of Long Beach, South Canada, recently made public comments on discriminating against Asians twice in public. Local residents uploaded her photos to the Internet to attract attention. Hernandez chanted “Go back to whatever Asian country you belong in” to the Asian people, “China back to China,” and other comments that allegedly discriminated against Asians.

Hernandez was arrested by the police on the 3rd and she will be charged with a misdemeanor battery charge. The Torrance City Attorney's Office pointed out that because of insufficient evidence, Hernandez will not be prosecuted for recent discrimination.

As of the 4th, Hernandez has paid one yuan to be released from prison. During the New Coronary Pneumonia epidemic, many misdemeanor suspects in Los Angeles County were released from prison with extremely low or zero bail.
