  The applicable procedures in the issued guidelines include: Once the tourist feels uncomfortable, the hotel staff will be notified, and then the hotel will notify the cooperating doctor and hospital. If the doctor cannot provide advice, the tourist will be transferred to the designated medical institution; if the patient immediately If care is needed, it will be transferred to the nearest medical institution as a “suspected new coronary pneumonia case”; if the situation is serious and the medical institution cannot handle the incident, the patient will be transferred to the nearest large medical center by emergency air, sea or road ambulance service.

  If the patient has mild symptoms, a new coronavirus test will be performed. After the test, patients with mild symptoms must remain in the room until the monitoring results come out. No contact with hotel staff during this period. If absolutely necessary, the hotel will appoint an employee to the patient's room.

  If the test result is positive, the person in charge of the hotel’s health will formally report the incident to the Greek National Health Organization through the 24-hour hotline and list it on the organization’s registration form. The diagnosed patients will be arranged for observation and isolation in a special isolation hotel; if the symptoms are serious, they will be transferred to the designated hospital. If the test result is negative, the doctor in the hotel or travel destination will treat and guide the patient.

  In addition, all areas of the hotel will be disinfected according to the rules established by the Greek National Health Organization. Everyone who accompanies the patient, including family members, partners, friends, etc., will provide information about the patient's activities, during which time masks must be worn at all times, and other hygiene rules must be followed.

  For those who have been in contact with patients diagnosed with New Crown, the guidelines stipulate that if hotel guests or employees come into contact with patients diagnosed with New Crown, they will be required to isolate themselves, do not use public facilities, stay in isolation rooms to eat, and follow relevant virus tests program.
