“The task of the lawyer is to collect evidence. I did this, I gathered enough evidence of his innocence. Therefore, I talked with him, I convinced him: “Let's wait, we always have time to admit guilt,” he said.

As the lawyer noted, now it remains to be seen what kind of assessment the evidence will give the court.

“If we understand that in court our evidence is unfounded and has no legal force, of course, we will admit our guilt and will apologize,” Pashayev added.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the completion of the investigation of the case against Efremov. The actor was charged with the final version.

On July 3, Pashayev, in an interview with the Moscow 24 website, stated that Efremov refused to admit guilt in an accident.

As the defender noted, the actor after the accident wanted to help the relatives of the deceased Sergei Zakharov, but this "does not speak about the guilt of the artist."
