China News Service, July 6th. According to Korean media reports, South Korean police announced on the 2nd that the "Huacheng series of murders" that had been pending for more than 30 years was concluded, and the suspect Li Chunzai killed 14 women. After the investigation of the case was over, Li Chunzai returned to Busan Prison. Allegedly, he did not change his mood much and continued to live his daily prison life.

Busan Prison revealed on the 6th that Li Chunzai was transferred from the Suwon Detention Center to Busan Prison on the 5th and was held in a single cell without contact with other receptionists.

Busan Prison stated that Li Chunzai is now in good health and maintains daily life such as sports and sleeping. After the investigation, he did not have any special (mood) changes or abnormalities.

It is expected that in the future, Li Chunzai will continue to live in prison in a single cell and cut off contact with other reception personnel.

The results of the police re-investigation lasting one year showed that Li Chunzai had a high tendency to mental illness, but he was previously regarded as a first-class model prisoner in prison and did not seem to show this tendency.

Busan Prison stated: "In prison life, he has no punishment, has served in the workplace for a long time, has no special status, and has lived in harmony with other inmates."

In 1994, Li Chunzai was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife and sister, and he has served his sentence at Busan Prison since 1995. After being identified as a suspect during the re-investigation of the 8th case in Hwaseong, Li Chunzai was transferred to Suwon Detention Center in December 2019. It is reported that at the end of the investigation, he expressed his desire to return to the original Busan prison.
