The Knowledge and Human Development Authority announced the procedures and guidelines for reopening private schools in Dubai for the next academic year 2020-2021, which were developed in coordination with the relevant government agencies in Dubai, to ensure that appropriate and effective options are available for each school separately, to maintain the health and safety of its students and cadres. The approved procedures and guidelines package accompanies the Dubai government’s keenness to ensure the highest levels of readiness for private schools in Dubai, to receive students at the beginning of the new academic year, in a framework of positive cooperation between the various elements of the educational community, while emphasizing the need for prior consultation between private schools, their cadres and parents, to determine The most appropriate form for students to return to the school building, in line with the procedures and guidelines adopted.
The authority devoted a team to follow-up on school inquiries daily through visual communication technology, to ensure that all information is available to the concerned school work teams, and to help each school understand and keep pace with the instructions and procedures required to reopen its doors for the new academic year.
Each private school in Dubai will submit its proposal to the Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority, including the most appropriate model that matches its capabilities, and meets the needs of parents for the new academic year, no later than July 14, when the specialized team in the authority will undertake the tasks of studying and approving the application, based on To the approved protective guidelines.
