Malmer Stenergard (M): "The Social Democrats did not move a single millimeter"

The explanation for the broken negotiations is stated to be that the Social Democrats and the Moderates were too far apart.

- Today it was perfectly clear that the Social Democrats chose the Environmental Party and they chose power over the possibility of settling on a long-term and realistic policy, says Maria Malmer Stenergard (M).

Center Party's Jonny Cato doesn't share that picture at all.

- Unfortunately, I feel that the Moderates have not had enough will to agree and compromise, he says.
