A 37-year-old homeless man was arrested by police in Rouen (Seine-Maritime) on the night of Saturday to Sunday. He had just threatened a group of three young women with a dummy pistol in the city center, reports 76 News .

He approached the group of young women around 1 a.m. with the aim of asking them for a cigarette. The three women refuse to give it to him, which triggers his anger. "Go on like this and I'm going to point you," he said to one of them. He then lifted his T-shirt and let the weapon appear.

A fake replica

Immediately alerted, the police quickly managed to arrest the suspect. On him, they find a fake replica Beretta pistol, which corresponds to the one he exhibited in front of the group of young women. If the weapon was false, the individual had on him a box of cartridges, specifies the Norman daily newspaper.

Well known to residents of downtown Rouen, this 30-year-old was placed in police custody for willful violence with a weapon. This Monday, he was to be summoned to appear immediately before the criminal court in order to answer for his actions.
