The Paris marathon, postponed for the first time to October 18 due to the coronavirus pandemic, has been postponed again to November 15, the organizer, ASO (Amaury Sport Organization) announced on Monday.

The Paris half-marathon will take place on October 18, ASO also announced.

This new postponement of the Paris marathon comes after the cancellation on June 24 of the New York (November 1) and Berlin (September 27) marathons, two of the most prestigious races on the calendar. That of Boston had been postponed from April 20 to September 14 before being also canceled at the end of May.

The London (postponed from April to October 4) and Chicago (October 11) marathons are however still maintained.
