The Libyan Al-Wefaq government confirmed that it is studying all options to respond to the bombing of the Al-Wattia base in the west of the country, and at the same time warned against using oil sites for military purposes after foreign forces entered the Sidra oil port in the east of the country on Sunday.

The internationally recognized government has vowed to respond to the bombing of foreign aircraft targeting the base, which, according to military analysts, indicates a new armed confrontation is expected.

The commander of the Tripoli Military District, Abdul Basit Marwan, confirmed that the available information about the plane that bombed the base is of the Mirage 2000 type and that it is owned by several Hafr allies, including the UAE, Egypt and Russia.

This comes while the circle of expansion of mercenaries supporting the retired Major General Khalifa Haftar is increasing in central and southern Libya after these forces failed to enter the capital, Tripoli.

The recent movements of the Russian and Janjaweed mercenaries centered around the oil sites, and Al-Wefaq government forces have documented the arrival of new military support to the military base of Al-Jafra, where the mercenaries of the Russian Wagner company supporting Haftar are based.

The head of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanallah, announced that foreign forces had entered the Sidra oil port, which had preceded it a few days before the entry of Wagner mercenaries to the Sharara oil field in southern Libya, according to the same source.

And San'a Allah added, "He does not rule out the possibility that the Wagner should have detonated and planted air defenses around the Sparks and Elephant fields."

Foreign aviation supporting the war criminal came as a failed attempt to interfere with the victory of our valiant forces on the ground. Targeting any vital installations within the borders of Libya is the confirmation of the continuation of some countries in betting on aggression against the legitimate government. The response to this aggression will be at the right time and place.

For his part, the Commander of the Tripoli region said that he "believes that the foreign forces that entered the Sidra oil port are the Russian Wagner mercenaries," and "the National Oil Corporation is the owner of inherent jurisdiction over its sites and appreciates the risk of foreign forces entering the oil installations."

Marwan told Al-Jazeera Net that the Al-Wefaq government is studying all options to respond to the bombing of Al-Wattia base and the use of oil sites for military purposes, noting that the government is taking steps to protect the vital areas and installations from any risks that may be exposed to them.

Marwan explained that "the use of military force again through the countries that support Haftar affects the negotiations" 5 + 5 ″, which are sponsored by the United Nations, and fully affirms that Haftar and his allies have no charter and cannot be trusted in any future negotiations with him.

Expected Turkish expansion,
in turn, political analyst Muhammed Buwaiser explained that the raid on the Al-Watiyah base resulted in the destruction of the Hawk system with 3 missiles that were in the process of being prepared, which according to his opinion the Turkish forces have the right to expand their operations and install more military assets in Libya, whether through F-16 aircraft Or medium-range surface-to-surface missiles.

He added, "The adventure of bombing the Al-Watiyah airbase gave an important key to the Turkish army, which it needed, especially towards the American ally, which makes the Hawk system and allowed its deployment in Libya."

"The country that bombed the al-Waya base does not value the harm that it and its allies may suffer, and it will soon find itself engaged in a war that it does not want, cannot control, and does not control its course," Boyasir said.

Rejecting the foreign presence
For his part, member of the Information Office of the Oil Syndicate, Louay Daoud, stated that the union rejects any foreign presence within the oil institutions, their militarization, and their use in the ongoing war in Libya.

"The Presidential Council of the Al-Wefaq government and the National Oil Corporation must clarify the full information of the nationalities of foreign forces that entered the Sidra oil port and other oil sites and the extent of their incursion into the Libyan oil sector," Daoud told Al-Jazeera Net.

"The entry of foreign armed forces into the oil fields and ports raises terror among the users of the oil sector and endangers their lives in addition to confusing business and technical operations in the oil sites," Dawood said.

Daoud called on all responsible authorities in the Libyan state to work to intervene immediately and keep the oil sector away from war operations, calling on the international community to intervene to preserve the safety of the only Libyan food.

A direct danger
. The military expert, Adel Abdul Kafi, believes that the presence of any foreign armed forces in the oil sites poses a direct threat to the state of security, economic and political stability, and the fighting may be resumed again strongly around Tripoli.

"The presence of Russian and Janjaweed mercenaries in sensitive locations such as the oil sector, in addition to their control over the bases of Jufra and Qardabiya in Sirte, allows them freedom of movement by air in eastern and southern parts of western Libya," Abdul Kafi said.

Abdul Kafi called on the Al-Wefaq government to work with the Turkish ally to attack the Jafra base, the key to controlling and tightening the main supply line linking eastern, western and southern Libya, to expel Russian and Janjaweed mercenaries from the region and then targeting by air with drones.

And Abdul Kafi concludes that the coming confrontation will be fierce between the Al-Wefaq forces and the Haftar militia as it is taking place in open areas in light of the arrival of new weapons and equipment to the Russian mercenaries supporting Haftar that were used by Russia in Syria.
