"We will never give up"

Joshua Wong, 23, was not heard when he appeared in court on Tuesday. According to him, the Chinese authorities "cannot ignore and silence the voice of the people of Hong Kong".

"With the conviction of the people of Hong Kong to fight for freedom, we will never give up and never go to Beijing," he said.
