Manchester United coach Olli Gunnar Solchard praised the promising youngster Mason Greenwood, describing him as "a decisive touch" after scoring two goals in a 5-2 victory over Bournemouth in the English Premier League.

On Saturday, the 18-year-old striker scored the first goal with a great left foot shot, and added his second goal with his right foot, raising his score to 15 goals in his first season in all competitions.

Solchar said he had never seen a small player with such strength and accuracy in shots in front of goal, but stressed that it was still too early to expect if he could follow in the footsteps of former senior players at the club such as Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I watched Wayne Rooney at the same age, and Mason has an extraordinarily decisive touch and he's exceptional in scoring goals ... He knows exactly what he's doing with the ball when he's on the field," he told reporters.

"If he pays, he will score. His level will improve and his overall level has already improved. I don't want to compare him to Rooney or Ronaldo, and this is unfair, and he will start his personal career and he will do it his way."

"I am sure if Mason continues to work properly and make the right decisions, he will have a great march. This is the first Mason season, but we always knew we had an exceptional boy."

United became the fifth in the Premier League with 55 points from 33 games, before facing Aston Villa, which is threatened with relegation next Thursday.
