Since the month of May and the beginning of the deconfinement, revelers have the habit of meeting on weekends on the banks of the Tarn, in Albi. On the night of Saturday to Sunday, when about 200 people were gathered on the banks, a 29-year-old man drowned in the river, reports the radio 100%.

The victim would have fallen into the water from the quay located below the Palais de la Berbie, very close to the Sainte-Cécile cathedral, in the historic center of the Tarn prefecture. Rescuers were quickly warned by witnesses, but they could not save the young man, after a drama which would have occurred against a background of alcoholism.
