Friday evening, boulevard Victor-Hugo in Nantes, a man, living in a building on this street, was stabbed in the chest in the middle of the street, reports  Presse Océan . Despite the intervention of witnesses, the young man, father of a child, died of his injuries a few hours later at the Nantes University Hospital.

The victim, of Romanian origin, was walking down the street when he was stabbed. Presse Océan says that the suspect had just greeted the victim before following him and stabbing him. The suspect, a man in his 50s and also of Romanian descent, managed to flee. He lives in the same building as the victim. He is still actively sought. According to certain witnesses, he staggered at the time of the facts.
