Several people were injured following major riots in Vårby

When police arrived at the scene, only one person remained, with injuries indicating he had been beaten.

- He doesn't seem to have been beaten with any affection. According to witnesses, the other persons had left on foot or by car, says Eva Nilsson, press spokesperson for the police.

While the police were in place in Vårby, three people arrived at the hospital where the injured man was cared for.

- They were not taken there by ambulance but went there by their own car or in some other way. They had some form of cutting injuries and it is considered that they were involved in the brawl, says Eva Nilsson.

All were heard by police.

- But they couldn't give a clear picture of what happened and who did what last night. You will hear them all again, says Eva Nilsson.

Four different reports have been made, two on attempted murder and two cases of serious abuse.

- It is a messy case, with many involved. Everyone runs here and there and it is difficult to get a clear picture of what happened initially.

Are there witnesses?

- Someone called us and told us that many people are fighting and that someone seems beaten. There were probably more people there too, says Eva Nilsson.
