“I sincerely congratulate Alexander Lukashenko and the Belarusian people on their national holiday ... I am proud to recall that friendship and business relations have developed between Belarus and the subject of Russia, the Chechen Republic,” Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.
He noted that Russia and Belarus are tied by strong economic, cultural and humanitarian ties, and the great merit of the leaders of the two countries - Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko - is in this.
Last year, Lukashenko presented Kadyrov with the Order of Friendship of Peoples and named him his brother.
