After an eventful school year marked by a long interruption caused by the coronavirus epidemic, some 12.4 million students find themselves on vacation Friday evening. But those at the Gutenberg primary school, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, were perhaps a little less happy than usual, sad to leave their comrades only a few days after the resumption.

Louise, for example, is already longing for her friends. "I'm a little happy because I'm going to stay on vacation a bit, but a little sad because I'm not going to see my friends anymore," she explains to Europe 1. "I have the number of a few, but we won't be able to see each other for real. "

Some parents also do not welcome this vacation enthusiastically, when the return to class had been a relief, after long weeks of school at home. "We felt that they were a little bored. So finding their mistress, their friends was important," said one mother.

Between now and the start of the school year, holidays must therefore be organized, even if the destinations are a little more limited than in previous years due to the health crisis. "I'm going to Mexico ... no, it's just a joke," laughs a child. For others, it will be an opportunity to spend family moments. "I'm going to go to my aunts, then to my godmother," said a schoolgirl.
