It was on June 25 that the municipal company Miva in Örnsköldsvik announced that the drinking water in Solberg was contaminated and that the water had to be boiled.

A sampling showed traces of bacteria from faeces from humans or animals. The water has been chlorinated and a first test showed that the water was free of bacteria. However, the cooking recommendation has remained in place until the municipal water company Miva received at least two approved test results one after the other. Now another test has been passed and the water no longer needs to be boiled.

During the two weeks, a tanker truck with drinking water has been set up at Solberg's country store.
