The shooting took place one summer evening at the foot of the buildings in the Reynerie district. On July 3, 2017, a 27-year-old man, Djamel Tarhi, was shot dead and seven others were injured in the shooting, perpetrated by a man hidden under a burqa and pushing a stroller.
After three years of investigation, seven people will be tried before the assizes for "assassination and attempted murder," reports La Dépêche du Midi. The trial is scheduled to take place in the spring of 2021.

Abdelkader Ramdani, 47, was staying in the Pink City from June 27 and July 6, 2017. Wiretapped, the suspect had confessed to his partner that he was the perpetrator of this shooting. Six other people were identified to have participated in this operation which is similar to a settling of accounts against the background of drug trafficking and turf war.
The seven accused deny the facts. They risk life imprisonment.
