So much support is received by the county's local newspapers

Of the 231 applications that came into the country, 192 applications were granted support. The Media Support Committee has prioritized the applications on a number of aspects.

The applications that receive support are spread across 20 of 21 counties and relate to efforts to start, maintain or expand journalistic surveillance of poorly guarded areas.

In Sörmland, the media coverage in Flen, Oxelösund and Vingåker is supported. A total of SEK 4.9 million is distributed to newspapers in the various areas.
