Prosecutor Anna Hjort tells SVT News East that there was no reason to keep the 28-year-old in custody any longer, but that he remains suspicious.

- My assessment is that he cannot make the investigation more difficult and that he no longer needs to be deprived of liberty, says Anna Hjort.

The 28-year-old was arrested and arrested in early June on suspicion of violating the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods at various locations in Sweden, including in Västerås, Skärholmen and Gothenburg.

Sold explosives

In plain text, the crime classification means that the 28-year-old is suspected of having sold explosives illegally. There have been reports that the 28-year-old must have sold the explosive used in the blast on Ådalagatan in Linköping last year, but there is nothing that neither prosecutor nor the 28-year-old's lawyer wants to comment on.

"I can only say that it was not something he was asked to be arrested for," says defense lawyer Martin Soner. Which adds that his client feels relieved and hopes that life will return to normal.
