“One hundred servicemen of the Siberian Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia from the village of Kumysny, the Novosibirsk Region, have been helping the authorities of the region and the city of Norilsk for almost a month to eliminate the consequences of the diesel fuel spill,” RIA Novosti quotes a representative of the operational headquarters.

It is clarified that on Tuesday, June 30, the group completed work and flew to the station.

Earlier, water samples from Norilsk reservoirs did not for the first time reveal excess of the maximum permissible concentration of oil products after the accident at TPP-3.

On June 19, Russian leader Vladimir Putin noted that much work had been done to eliminate the consequences of the fuel spill in Norilsk, and that it was possible to turn the tide.

As noted in Norilsk Nickel, the company funded the elimination of the consequences of a fuel spill by 5 billion rubles.
