It was hoped that the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation would be an advocate of dialogue and the promotion of stability in the Arab region, and he had set up a program in the organization to manage dialogue between groups and different groups of all spectrums, boredom and religions, to establish peace and promote stability and lay the foundations for coexistence between the components of societies in one country or Interstate, instead of taking the lead to stir up more strife in the region and beating the drums of a new war against the Muslim Brotherhood, and calling for an elaborate strategy to eliminate them.

The fierce attack carried out recently by the Secretary-General of the organization d. Youssef Ahmad Al-Uthaymeen, in some media outlets, against the Muslim Brotherhood, has raised a lot of surprise and amazement, about the motives, timing and reasons behind them. Is this attack an indication of the organization’s intention to call for the adoption of a resolution that binds member states and pushes Western countries to consider the Muslim Brotherhood? Terrorist group? Or is it the beginning of a new arbitrary campaign against them? Or is it distracting people's attention from what they should not be aware of?

Axes of attack

This article was to address the tyranny industry and the pillars on which it is based, but the importance of the hadith of Dr. Al-Uthaymeen and the great violation of his position as the Secretary-General of the organization on the one hand, and the charter of the organization and its goals and work programs on the other hand, made me hasten to postpone my scheduled article and dealt with this issue, not in defense of the Muslim Brotherhood or an attack on the Secretary-General, so the matter now in the Arab region is much greater, and claimed Ever to unify the word, gather the class, contain crises, inject blood and treat problems with dialogue and wisdom. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is the first entity that is supposed to undertake this based on its charter and program of work, and it always emphasizes in its documents on “preserving the noble Islamic values of Peace, compassion, tolerance, equality, justice and human dignity, and its promotion.

This is not a defense of the Muslim Brotherhood or an attack on the Secretary-General of the organization, as the matter in the Arab region is now much larger than that, and has ever called for unifying the word, gathering the class, containing crises, injecting blood and tackling problems through dialogue and wisdom.

The greatest attack came to the Secretary-General Dr. Al-Uthaymeen in his recorded meeting broadcast on Sky News Arabia last Friday 26-6-2020 AD, where the talk about the Muslim Brotherhood took 20 minutes out of a total of 26 minutes for the duration of the meeting, and the attack focused on the following axes (and speaking to the Secretary-General):

  • Confirm that the Muslim Brotherhood is more dangerous than ISIS:

Because ISIS is newly formed, and its elements include ex-owners, drug addicts, and members of disjointed families, and thus facilitated their elimination despite having occupied two-thirds of Iraq and Syria, while the Brotherhood organization originated more than 70 years ago with the goal of achieving power through religion, and they are not criminals, the organization includes Parliamentarians, politicians, university professors, university students, doctors, lawyers, and almost all of the various segments of society from the people you consider successful. The dangerous thing is that the members of the organization use the method of taqiyya, and they have a purpose that justifies the means, and they do not recognize the Qatari state, and their view is international, and they are international rather than local.

  • Regulation must be criminalized:

Because their crimes are clear, and their failures are clear, they do not originally believe in the principles they promote, killing police and security men, stealing banks and assaulting people's property as spoils, and young people who joined the organization often find it problematic with his family, family, or social past. The French newspaper Le Monde reported two years ago that the vast majority of those who committed terrorist operations are either prison graduates, broken families or drug addicts, and they know nothing about Islam.

  • Removing holiness from their jurists:

Holiness must be removed from their jurists, because it is one of the means by which we try to convince young people, because they do not cultivate in the minds of young people the true image of Islam as a religion of mercy, peace and love, but they divide the world into a house of war and a house of peace, and that these (the West) are infidels and they must be fought And that they are spoils for the Muslims, their women and their money, and they are selective with the Quranic verses so they choose what they use to persuade.

  • Their relationship to Nazism and Hitler:

Emphasizing that there is a link between Nazism, Hitler, and the Brotherhood, serious books have recently emerged that talk about this, and there is strong and documented cooperation, and those who have not seen these serious books should see them, they were soldiers to help the Nazis in the World War, and Hitler exploited them to be A longing for him in the Arab countries in the name of Islam.

  • Decriminalization of the Muslim Brotherhood in the West:

It is unfortunate that there are western countries that are still thinking: Do you criminalize the Brotherhood or not, and I think that the link between the Brotherhood and Nazism is important to facilitate these countries to criminalize the Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood found in the western countries a safe haven and created for themselves propaganda that they are persecuted in their countries because of their loss of political freedom, but the magic turned against the magician, when they tried to invest freedom to offend these countries, and these countries began deporting them to their countries and to other countries to try them, and there are even Criminal acts have taken place in these countries, and this is known and documented before all the media.

  • Brotherhood elimination strategy:

The security aspect is important, but it is not enough. The intellectual and cultural aspect is also important to expose the plans of the organization. The curricula of education and monitoring of platforms should be sifted, dismantling their incubators, moving the silent majority in the West and in our countries to confront them, and following a long breath. This organization cannot be eliminated in 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 7 years, we must continue efforts and not rely on the successes that our countries have achieved in facing the organization.

What if the Muslim Brotherhood turns to new ISIS? How will the consequence be in the Arab and Islamic region? How many more years will we need to fight? How many souls will be killed? How many souls will be lost, how much will the devastation be, and where will our failures and failures reach?

Violation of the protocol and honesty

The Secretary-General of the organization d. Youssef Al-Uthaymeen with this fierce attack as a citizen, university professor, writer or analyst, has the right to express his opinion on all issues and issues, regardless of who agrees with or disagrees with him, but he did so in his capacity as Secretary-General of the organization in which he took office in November 2016, in violation of the protocol rules The main tasks entrusted to him, as he has no right to adopt a position that the organization has not taken, nor to call for something outside its charter, its goals and its will, and its slogan which stipulates "the unanimous voice of the Islamic world". The decisions issued by its fifty-seven countries, and the plans, programs and policies that they adopt.

The member states of the organization have the right to take individually whatever positions and decisions they deem appropriate regarding their national interests and their internal and regional security, and if a few of the countries of the organization agree in their positions with Dr. Al-Uthaymeen on the Muslim Brotherhood, and considered it a terrorist group, the vast majority of the organization's countries did not do this, but that the members of the Muslim Brotherhood - with the various signs of the organization - live in their countries, enjoy all their national rights, and carry out their activities and activities in their institutions in various fields, but rather Some of them participate in power efficiently and competently, on what basis does it exceed Dr. Al-Uthaymeen is its location and all member states bear such decision. There is no room here for personal opinions. Al-Uthaymeen is still in his position, and the meeting took place in his office, and the slogan of the organization at the front of the staff from behind him, was presented as the Secretary-General of the organization.

From the right of dr. Al-Uthaymeen should adopt this position and repeat it in all the councils in which he sits, but in two cases: the first is when a statement is issued by the OIC countries, and the second is when he leaves his position in the organization.

Violation of the charter and directions

Dr.'s violation was not limited. Al-Uthaymeen at the protocol level, and even went beyond that to violating the organization's charter, programs and orientations.

As we adhere to the principles of the United Nations Charter and this Charter, and international law, we have decided:

  • Preserving and enhancing the noble Islamic values of peace, compassion, tolerance, equality, justice and human dignity.
  • Striving to work to strengthen the leading role of Islam in the world while ensuring sustainable development, progress and prosperity for the peoples of the member states.
  • Promoting and strengthening the bonds of unity and solidarity between Muslim peoples and member states.
  • Promote human rights, fundamental freedoms, good governance, rule of law, democracy and accountability in member states in accordance with their constitutional and legal systems.

The third and seventh items in the second article stated the following:

  • "All Member States shall resolve their disputes peacefully and refrain from using force or threatening to use force in their relations."
  • “Member States promote and support, at the national and international levels, good governance, democracy, human rights, fundamental freedoms and the rule of law.”

The organization’s history page states that it “represents the collective voice of the Islamic world and seeks to protect and express its interests in support of international peace and harmony and to promote relations between different peoples of the world.” Half a billion Muslims around the world. "

Why does the Secretary-General call for this senseless war, and does not start from the charter of the organization, so he calls for dialogue and solving problems by peaceful means, reconciliation, containment, promotion of good governance, fundamental freedoms, human rights and the rule of law?

So why this senseless war that the Secretary-General calls for? Why does it not start from the charter of the organization and calls for the peaceful solution of problems, reconciliation, containment, promotion of good governance, basic freedoms, human rights and rule of law?

The organization manages its executive work through 13 departments of various fields and specializations, among them the Department of Dialogue and Communication, which was called "the Department of Advocacy Affairs" until April 2016 AD, and among other things it did the following:

  • The establishment of the Voice of Wisdom Center: with the aim of "confronting extremist rhetoric and its mechanisms through social media and clarifying the moderate and correct concept of Quranic and prophetic policies in building internal and external peace, and presenting them as a supreme model to achieve the message of brotherhood between humans" and the center began its activities in 2019.
  • Islamophobia Observatory: It is concerned with monitoring incidents, feelings and criminal incidents against Muslims on a daily basis, monitoring everything related to the phenomenon of Islamophobia, negatively or positively, at the world level, and preparing an annual report on the status of Islamophobia to be presented to the conference of foreign ministers of member states; Coordination with other departments such as political affairs, Muslim minorities, and the Independent Permanent Commission for Human Rights of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on issues related to the phenomenon of Islamophobia.

Among the activities carried out by the administration in the context of dialogue and communication are the following:

  • Organizing a round table for interfaith dialogue in December 2017 in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, with a view to giving a strong impetus to the implementation of peace agreements in the Central African Republic (CAR) and strengthening the role of religious leaders in the peace and reconciliation process in the country.
  • In the same month, a strategic workshop was organized in Bangkok, bringing together civil and religious community leaders, policy makers and government representatives to outline the challenges facing religious communities in South and Southeast Asia.
  • In December 2019, the Department organized a workshop entitled: “Together for Diversity and Promoting Interfaith Dialogue” in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, with the aim of enriching intercultural dialogue, enhancing understanding between followers of religions and civilizations, and preventing or mitigating conflicts in Southeast Asia, where they brought together The workshop was attended by political decision-makers and religious leaders from Buddhist and Islamic backgrounds, from Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
  • The administration also aims to organize conferences and workshops during the year 2020 AD for Islamic orthodox dialogue, Buddhist Islamic dialogue, Protestant Islamic dialogue, Islamic Catholic dialogue, and Chinese Islamic dialogue, in addition to Islamic-Islamic dialogue in many societies.

Is it not strange that the organization is active in all this activity in promoting dialogue between groups and different groups of all walks of life, boredom and religions, to establish peace and promote stability and lay the foundations for coexistence between the components of societies in one country or between countries, and the Secretary-General of the organization comes to price the war against the Muslim Brotherhood, and demands Develop a well-rounded strategy to eliminate them? Is this plan that will achieve stability, peace, prosperity, security and safety in the region? Why does our nation not have a share of the dialogue?

Did the Secretary-General not think about the consequences of that?

Is this the Secretary-General's vision of implementing the organization's charter? Is this the work that was installed for?

What if the Muslim Brotherhood turns to new ISIS? How will the consequence be in the Arab and Islamic region? How many more years will we need to fight? How many souls will be killed? How many souls will be lost, how much will the devastation be, and where will our failure and backward reach? The Secretary-General mentioned in his speech that this group is more than 70 years old, that it is deeply rooted in societies, and that it has cadres that make it influential in various sectors.

Can we all imagine that?
