- She is currently on the detention center in Norrköping, says defense lawyer Per Oehme.

He goes on to say that if someone is judged to suffer from a mental disorder then the time is another.

- If someone is judged to suffer from mental disorder, a medical certificate is usually printed and the person is placed in forensic psychiatry and not on the detention, says Per Oehme.

Message on Friday

The results of the forensic psychiatric examination will be presented no later than Friday. Thereafter, the district court shall convene again to decide on the judgment.

- I hope the verdict comes sometime next week, says Per Oehme.

Negligence caused Esmeralda's death

The district court's message on the last day of trial in early June was that the prosecutor failed to prove that Esmeralda's mother and father intentionally abused and killed Esmeralda.
Neither did the prosecutor succeed in proving that the mother and father put Esmeralda in disarray by supplying her with drugs.

On the other hand, the district court held that there is convincing evidence for Esmeralda's mother of negligence caused Esmeralda's death by not summoning medical personnel or taking her to hospital when she was injured.
