On Wednesday, work is underway to raise a residential building next to a grocery store at Hedlunda in Umeå. It is OF Bygg that will raise the house two floors, but the man who fell worked on Altum, a subcontractor working on mounting scaffolding and down scaffolding. There are currently several investigations into the accident. The police have been on the scene and heard witnesses and the incident is being investigated by Prosecutor Åsa Schoultz at the national unit for environmental and work environment goals. She is still waiting for the protocol from the technical investigation, but says that the accident should have happened when a scaffolding was to be dismantled.
