After the municipal elections, Emmanuel Macron is working on a major reshuffle

In the aftermath of failed municipal elections for his party, Emmanuel Macron wants to relaunch his quinquennium by changing heads. Everything will accelerate in the coming days.

Will Emmanuel Macron do with or without Edouard Philippe? It is the main unknown factor in this reshuffle, which is announced as the most important since the start of the quinquennium. First and foremost because for the first time the question arises whether or not to keep the Prime Minister. Will he be best able to embody the new phase of the quinquennium? Reinforced by the polls on his popularity and after his re-election in Le Havre, the person indicated that he awaits the decision in a very "  Zen  " manner.

Emmanuel Macron for his part emptied his agenda and works in his office on his new casting and on the architecture of the departments which would indicate his new directions. The president "would like to overturn the table", assures a minister. It remains to be seen whether he will succeed in finding the women and men to do so - an eternal problem since the beginning of the five-year period.

To open this "  new era  " as he calls it, the Head of State wants to express himself on television. But when and how? The date and form are still under discussion. Many expect the appointment of a new team early next week. Everyone in the ministries is waiting. The rumors are rife. The atmosphere is "  heavy and depressing  ", testifies a ministerial adviser.
