Brazilian Douglas Costa confirmed Juventus' victory with a third goal in the 73rd minute, but only three minutes later Andrea Pinamonte responded with the only goal for Genoa.

Juventus raised its lead in the lead to 72 points, four points behind second-placed Lazio, while Genoa stopped at 26 points in 17th place.
