Activists on social media circulated video clips of a runaway American police demonstrators in Detroit, Michigan, yesterday morning.

A group of demonstrators wrapped around a police car during a demonstration condemning racism, chanting "No justice .. no peace", which prompted the police car driver to try to trample them.

Activists also circulated video clips of police assaults on demonstrators, their arrest and the launch of tear gas canisters.

It is noteworthy that these events come in light of the continuing demonstrations condemning racism after the killing of George Floyd, an African American, by the American police last month.

The police have not stopped rioting. We can't look away from this.

Last night in Portland police were assaulting people right and left. We can't just let this slide.
