The purpose of the new e-service is to make it easier for the patient and facilitate the health care.
In Östergötland, samples are taken at the special stations at the University Hospital in Linköping, the Lasarrette in Motala and the Vrinevis Hospital in Norrköping.
- We are building up the capacity to be able to receive those who have more mild symptoms more effectively and also relieve the health centers, which have summer staffing, says Britt Åkerlind, infection control physician in the Östergötland Region, in a press release.
The new e-service also applies to Gotland. Here, samples can be taken at special locations in Visby, Slite and Hemse.
