Screening for Covid-19 in Strasbourg is no longer only possible in the European Parliament or in various laboratories. From this Tuesday, June 30 until July 10, it will be on the street.

In connection with the city, the Grand Est regional health agency is launching a collective screening campaign. They will be free and without prescription in four districts of the Alsatian capital. In the Ampère district, this Tuesday and July 7 from 1:30 to 5:30 pm place de Watwiller; at Elsau on Wednesdays, July 1 and 8, around the market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m .; in Neuhof on Thursdays 2 and 9 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. near the market; and finally in the station district on Fridays 3 and 10, near the market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"Free screening can reassure beneficiaries of their medical situation and, if necessary, allow them to contact their doctor for optimal follow-up," writes the ARS, which specifies that three private laboratories will perform nasal swabs. The results will be communicated within 24 hours, by email.
