European Union has decided to open borders again to travelers from 14 countries, including Korea. However, if you go to Europe, you have to return to Korea and self-contain for 2 weeks. It is unlikely that the number of travelers will increase immediately.

Reuters reported that the EU and EU member countries have agreed on a list of 14 countries that can enter the EU from today (1st).

According to the correspondence, the EU board of directors has agreed to this and has adopted recommendations to circumvent phase restrictions.

There are 14 countries including Algeria, Australia, Canada, Japan, and Thailand, including Korea.

In China, it is known that entry into the EU is possible if the Chinese government allows EU citizens to enter China.

In principle, this recommendation is applicable starting today, but due to the lack of legal binding power, the final decision authority remains with individual countries.

As a result, each EU member country may continue to restrict the entry of other citizens, including 14 countries, including South Korea, or may phase out restrictions.

The list of these 14 countries will be reviewed every two weeks, taking into account the situation of Corona19, the trend of new diagnoses, and response standards.

In the case of the United States, where the corona 19 spread was still not included in the list, an analysis is also made to reflect whether the recent relationship between Europe and the United States has deteriorated.
