Residents of the Saint-Michel district in Toulouse had a bad surprise this Monday morning, shortly after 5 a.m. A man entered their house through the window of their apartment on the ground floor. They called the police, who came to pick up the intruder.
He had wanted to find a refuge following the burglary of a nearby grocery store, carried out with an accomplice after breaking the door of the business. Alerted shortly after the theft, officials from the anti-crime brigade had already arrested his buddy when they came to look for him in his "hiding place". The two men, 24 and 30 years old, were taken into police custody.
