Throw in the net. Six police officers from the Seine-Saint-Denis security and intervention company (CSI 93) were placed in police custody at the IGPN on Monday, in particular for the detention and transport of drugs and theft, we learned from concordant sources.

The Paris prefect of police, Didier Lallement, "decided to initiate a reflection on the reorganization of the police units of the CSI 93 to which the officials concerned belong," also announced the prefecture of police (PP) .

Towards "sanctions"?

"If misconduct was likely to be confirmed, it would call for sanctions," added the PP. A source close to the investigation said that the officers in question were in police custody at the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN), the police, confirming press reports.

They are particularly suspected of possession and transport of narcotics as well as theft, added another source close to the investigation.

This company had already been at the heart of a controversy in August 2019 when six of its members were placed in police custody, suspected of being implicated in the violent arrest of a young man of 20 years in Saint-Ouen.
