Iran has issued arrest warrants for 36 citizens of the United States and other countries, including American President Donald Trump, on charges of having ordered, prepared or implemented the killing of General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad on January 3 , commander of the Qods forces of the Pasdaran. This was announced by Tehran's prosecutor, Alghasi Mehr, quoted by Fars.

"The Iranian judiciary has issued a 'red alert' to Interpol for the 36 wanted people, who are political and military figures. These people - said the Tehran prosecutor - are convicted of 'murder' and 'terrorism'. The president Donald Trump is high on the list and will continue to be prosecuted even after his presidential term ends. "

The killing of Soleimani
On January 3, two days after the attack on the US embassy in Iraq, the Americans responded with a raid near Baghdad airport. The attack, ordered by Donald Trump and carried out with the help of drones, killed the powerful Iranian general leader of the al-Quds militias of the Guardians of the Revolution, the elite force of the army of the Islamic Republic, in charge of carrying out the operations abroad.

A legendary figure that of Qassem Soleimani, the man who managed to redesign the geopolitical scenarios of the Middle East in favor of Iran so much so that a former CIA agent spoke of him as the "most operational and powerful" person in the area.

During the Iranian intervention in the Syrian civil war that began in 2011 and in contrast to the advance of ISIS in Iraq since 2014, Soleimani led Tehran's forces centered around the unit he led. With him in command, Iranian and Iraqi troops halted the advance of ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

In 2007 Soleimani was included in the list of people affected by United Nations Council Resolution 1747 for his involvement in the Iranian nuclear program. In 2008 he sent a message to General Petraeus stating that he had Iranian politics in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Gaza and that the Iranian ambassador to Iraq himself was a member of the Pasdaran. General Petraeus called him "a truly evil figure".

The warning to Trump
Eighteen months before her death, the general publicly warned Donald Trump: "Mr. Trump the gambler, I tell him, we are closer to her than you think. You will start the war , but we will conclude it. "
