Moreover, as Volynets noted, many parents caring for sick children do not have opportunities for full-time employment, but they may have small sources of income, for example, in self-employment mode.

“We ask you to allow parents of children with disabilities receiving benefits for the care of a disabled child to have sources of income not exceeding one minimum wage (minimum wage. - RT ), while maintaining the allowance,” the text of the appeal read RT.

According to Volynets, the preservation of state benefits, provided that a citizen who cares for a disabled child, will help improve the quality of life of such families, receive additional funds for the rehabilitation of sick children, and improve the emotional state of parents and guardians.

Earlier, the National Parents Committee took the initiative to introduce a temporary additional allowance for single parents.
