The portion was closed to traffic for a few hours. Sunday around 8 p.m., a fatal accident occurred on the Nantes ring road near Saint-Herblain, between the gates of Chézine and Sautron. About fifteen firefighters intervened after a frontal impact between a car and a tow truck. According to the first elements, the first vehicle was traveling in the opposite direction and struck the second, which was on the emergency stop strip.

The driver of the car, a man in his forties, died in the accident. Her two dogs, who were on board, did not survive either. According to the firefighters, the driver of the tow truck was transported to the emergency room of the Nantes University Hospital. Aged 30, he was only slightly injured.
